Everlost by Neal Shusterman

This is another book about teenagers who are killed and face the next world. Everlost is a “half world”. Nick and Allie meet in this new world after they both die in a car accident. The two were in separate cars. It takes Nick and Allie some time to understand their surroundings. Another boy, Leif, named because of the forest (leaf) they are in, helps. Leif is comfortable and content, but Nick and Allie want more. This starts a novel full of adventure and intrigue. It is complete with “bad guys and gals.” Will Nick, Allie, and Leif be able to stay in Everlost? Will they want to?
The publication of this novel is August 2006.
